You’re Good Workshops are thoughtfully curated to reconnect you to this truth through mindfulness, art projects, reflection and connection.

When we dismiss our desire to create because we are afraid of failure, wasting time, judgement or just not being “good enough”, it is because we have a limiting idea of what creativity is.

Incorporating mindfulness into my own art practice has allowed me to slow down, reconnect with myself, and begin healing the negative self-talk that had shaped so much of my inner world and stifled my creative expression. This has path has inspired me to become a mindful art teacher and facilitate workshops so I can help empower others to use their own unique creative voice!

I am an artist, mother and mindful art teacher living in Potomac, Maryland with my husband, our three children and our cat, Doodles!

My passion for creating has taken different forms throughout my career, from mixed media portraits to large abstract paintings. Most recently I have self-published my first book, It won’t be like this Forever, a lyrical illustrated gift book about hope, overcoming difficult emotions and the light at the other side of challenging times.

I am most inspired by human connection, self-reflection, and being in nature.

In addition to providing private art lessons, for the last two decades I have been involved in recovery centered mentorship, where I have had the privilege of walking with young adults and women through some of the hardest chapters of their lives. Along the way I have realized a passion for healing, service to others, and using the power of creativity as a tool for self-love and connection. This realization led me to Mindful Art Teacher training and the creation of You’re Good.
